When Algorithms Meet Aesthetics
My journey into the word of generative art
I first became interested in generative art during the spring and summer of 2021, many will remember this as ArtBlock Summer It was a time this space saw an explosion of creative art the likes of which had not been seen before. During this time artists such as Tyler Hobbs and Dmitri Cherniakcreated works that will become icons of this ingenious medium.
In the ever-expanding landscape of contemporary art, a fascinating genre had emerged, one that blurs the lines between the artist's brushstroke and the binary brilliance of algorithms. Generative art, a medium where creativity intersects with code, has become a captivating frontier that challenges traditional perceptions of artistic creation.
At its core, generative art involves the use of algorithms and computational processes to create visual, auditory, or interactive artworks.
