🎨Art as a Unifying Force: Bridging Divides and Celebrating Diversity!
In a world often marked by divisions, art emerges as a powerful tool to unite us all. Let's explore how art transcends boundaries, bridges cultures, and fosters a sense of unity in this thread.
Art is a universal language that speaks to the heart and soul. Regardless of our backgrounds, experiences, or languages, we can connect through the emotions and stories depicted in art. It creates a shared human experience that knows no barriers.
Art celebrates diversity, showcasing the beauty of different cultures, traditions, and perspectives. Through art, we gain insight into the lives of others, fostering empathy and understanding that dissolve prejudices and misconceptions.
Art brings people together, whether it's through collaborative projects, art festivals, or exhibitions. It creates spaces where individuals from all walks of life can interact, exchange ideas, and appreciate each other's creativity.
As artists and art enthusiasts, let's harness the transformative power of art to promote unity, respect, and compassion. By using our creative expressions, we can foster a world that celebrates diversity and embraces the shared humanity that unites us all. Together, let's paint a canvas of unity!
💼 Art as a Career vs. Art as an Expression🎨
Two Paths to Embrace!
Art as a Career: For some, art becomes a professional journey—a career that intertwines passion with livelihood. Artists pursuing art as a career dedicate themselves to honing their skills, building a portfolio, and navigating the art industry's challenges.
As art professionals, they may work in various fields like illustration, design, animation, or fine arts. They navigate galleries, exhibitions, and client projects, seeking recognition, financial stability, and opportunities to showcase their talent.
Art as a career entails strategic planning, marketing, and business acumen. Artists often balance creativity with commercial viability, embracing entrepreneurial skills to sustain their artistry in a competitive market.
Art as an Expression: On the other hand, some view art as a form of pure self-expression—a means to channel emotions, thoughts, and creativity without the confines of commercial pressures or external expectations.
Artists who embrace art as an expression focus on personal growth, introspection, and unfiltered creativity. They may create art for themselves, exploring themes and ideas that resonate deeply, irrespective of mainstream recognition.
In the realm of art, both paths are equally valid and fulfilling. Whether pursuing art as a career or embracing it as a means of self-expression, the essence of art remains—channeling creativity, sharing stories, and connecting hearts through the canvas of imagination.
Artist in depth review
Let’s dive into Monday’s in depth art review thread featuring @c a bipolar artist creating powerful work in the most vibrant of colour palettes
Cole’s art journey started from an early age, but he lost his “passion for art” over the years.
Around 2 Years ago he was suffering some health problems, which led to a complete depression this made his bipolarity spiral out of control leading to a dark period
Art saved him in all this, and along with it he was being reborn...
Cole continues to work on his style, his latest works show the path he’s taking, but I’m ready to adapt, make mistakes and continue to modify his style.
Cole enjoys bringing a subtle sense of sadness to his pieces, but without diverting attention from style, colours and shapes... he likes to say “ look at it more carefully and you’ll feel with it... “ he’s working on himself, on his art, and what he wants to do...
Cole does’t have great ambitions, he just wants to feel free, And be as happy as possible .. hee enjoys the process, and the journey it’s taking him on.
Bipolarity
Fighting against myself is tiring...
More and more often I wonder why,
It's been a while now that I'm not responding to the shots,
My personality has been divided into diabolical parts..
I'm sabotaging myself
She
“When I met you, you snatched every pain from me,
When you left, you melted my soul,
When you came back, you just hurt me more...🥀”
